DonateOur Climate Alliance is excited to co-sponsor Transit Equity Days in La Crosse, February 2-8, 2025. La Crosse Area Transit Advocates is planning a week of events that “highlight the importance of accessible and sustainable public transportation as a civil right” and mark Rosa Parks’ birthday. Bring the kids to bus-themed story time and the entire family to a movie about Rosa Parks at the La Crosse Public Library. They’ll be hosting a display all week. Ride with a Guide and learn more about the MTU system as you take the C2 Circulator around town. Commemorate Rosa Parks’ birthday on Tuesday, February 4, with free bus fare, specially decorated buses, and mayoral and city council candidates for company.

The site also features federal bills that will be introduced this year and need your advocacy to improve transit access, as well as local and national statistics about transit equity.
