The Trempealeau library was recently awarded multiple grants to install solar panels, which provide the electricity to run the building. They are hosting a solar open house and a Drive-Electric event to celebrate this. The library is giving away a backstage pass into the work the Shirley M. Wright Memorial Library has been doing through its Renew program. Neighbors are invited to hear about our solar panel project, to find they can make energy-conserving changes from experts with Ethos Green Energy Cooperative and RENEW Wisconsin, and get an up-close look at electric vehicles during our Drive Electric event in the parking lot.
